Our review of the SOCAP social impact event in San Francisco

Sanfransisco Bridge

This week everyone.org was in San Francisco!

Our CEO Sjaak Vink has been attending SOCAP (Social Capital Markets) which runs from 10 - 13th October and is the world’s largest annual gathering of social entrepreneurs, philanthropists and impact investors from around the globe. It’s an exciting opportunity to meet with other like-minded innovators – to connect, learn from one another, share our knowledge and be inspired.

Best of all, we were incredibly honoured to have been selected by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs to represent the Netherlands, along with Fairphone, Tony’s Chocolonely, Moyee Coffee, The Dutch Weed Burger, GoodUp, Energy Floors, People’s Pension Holding, Reflow, and Stichting Dif Media Foundation. The Netherlands is one of the fastest growing social impact systems worldwide, and we are proud to be a testament to the groundbreaking initiatives setting out to reshape our world. Just yesterday, our country’s new cabinet also announced that it wants to further  encourage social enterprises and promised to offer more support for this sector.

Sjaak has been busy raising awareness of everyone.org's mission to empower a new focus on patient-first healthcare, by networking and presenting our pioneering work to other innovators. We have only just started on our journey, yet already have pioneered new ways to help people access the latest approved medicines outside of their country.

"Shared learning is an important foundation that both connects and differentiates social enterprises. We are not driven by the same wants as other organisations, but by the need to integrate social value and improvement into the very DNA of everything we do - to create a better world for everyone." Sjaak Vink
